Cacao Adventures was founded in 2023 by Samoa — driven by a love of supporting communities and showing the world what Peru has to offer — and José, a cacao expert who spent years training growers in harvest and post-harvest techniques across Peru. That experience is the foundation of everything we make.
We work only with Indigenous communities and small family farms in Peru, our home country, paying premiums on top of NY prices for the quality and care they put into their wild cacao. And we travel to Peru every year for harvest — to hold our standards and check in with every community we partner with.
